Now that you know what you’re going to be posting, it’s time to figure out how you’ll curate it and schedule it.
With a new Instagram account, testing and tracking are your best friends when it comes to figuring out what types of posts your customers want to see. Publish a few posts and see how your audience responds. Keep track of what people like and don’t like to make sure you’re moving in the right direction. For example, graphic posts may get the most engagement and videos may get the least amount of engagement.
Use the splinter marketing strategy to create more posts from your most successful posts.
To figure out how often you’ll post, make sure you’re looking long term. What can you or your team sustain long term? At a minimum you want to post 2 feed posts per week. Then, use your Insights to see when your audience is the most active to figure out when to post. You can also check online stats to see when the best time to post to Instagram is currently.
